Position Description
This 12-month* Postdoctoral Fellowship in Private Practice enables fellows to garner expertise in evidence-based intervention, via providing individual and family-based services within an established and collaborative group practice.  Fellows will enjoy a coordinated opportunity for: direct clinical service (intake assessment, treatment planning, and intervention); regular professional supervision; collaborative clinical consultation (with psychiatrists, pediatricians, educators, evaluators, etc.) and ongoing professional development activities (both designated and self-directed). Via robust clinical opportunities and diverse supervision, fellows gain expertise in practicing evidence-based intervention (e.g., CBT; SPACE; etc.) with children and adolescents struggling with Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, OCD, trauma, and a variety of emotional/behavioral concerns.  Additionally, fellows will receive extensive training in individual and group-based Parent Consultation for concerns related to a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties (e.g., ADHD, anxiety, OCD).

* Our practice may offer longer-term employment to exceptional fellows.

Application Requirements
Applicants must have graduated from an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral program with an emphasis in clinical or counseling psychology, and (by the start of fellowship) successfully completed an APA-approved or APPIC-accredited internship program.  Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated interest and experience in evidence-based intervention for children, adolescents, and families.

The accepted applicant will become an employee of Therapy Dallas, where our commission-based compensation model allows for flexible earning potential.  Compensation will be discussed at the time of interview and will be commensurate with national, competitive postdoctoral fellowships.  Benefits include (but are not limited to):

Practice Description
Therapy Dallas is an established group practice offering coordinated and comprehensive evidence-based psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults in the Dallas area. The postdoctoral fellow will work under the supervision of Kristen Ohlenforst, PhD, Sarah Horton, PhD, and Jen Edgemon, PhD, and alongside licensed clinicians and fellow trainees who collectively provide individual psychotherapy (CBT and play-based), parent consultation, group therapy, and couples and family therapy.  Therapy Dallas provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants; we embrace diversity and all aspects of identity, both when working with clients and alongside one another.
