This 12-month* Postdoctoral Fellowship in Private Practice enables fellows to garner expertise in evidence-based intervention, via providing individual and family-based services within an established and collaborative group practice. Fellows will enjoy a coordinated opportunity for: direct clinical service (intake assessment, treatment planning, and intervention); regular professional supervision; collaborative clinical consultation (with psychiatrists, pediatricians, educators, evaluators, etc.) and ongoing professional development activities (both designated and self-directed). Via robust clinical opportunities and diverse supervision, fellows gain expertise in practicing evidence-based intervention (e.g., CBT; SPACE; etc.) with children and adolescents struggling with Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, OCD, trauma, and a variety of emotional/behavioral concerns. Additionally, fellows will receive extensive training in individual and group-based Parent Consultation for concerns related to a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties (e.g., ADHD, anxiety, OCD).
* Our practice may offer longer-term employment to exceptional fellows.
Applicants must have graduated from an APA- or CPA-accredited doctoral program with an emphasis in clinical or counseling psychology, and (by the start of fellowship) successfully completed an APA-approved or APPIC-accredited internship program. Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated interest and experience in evidence-based intervention for children, adolescents, and families.
