Maggie is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist specializing in Play Therapy, Activity Therapy, and Expressive Arts for children and preadolescents. She also works with adolescents and young adults using traditional talk therapy. Experienced in working with anxiety, depression, trauma and the highly sensitive trait, Maggie uses a variety of modalities including expressive arts, mindfulness, and sand tray therapy. She approaches her clients holistically, holding in mind the whole person and providing a warm, caring and safe environment. Maggie believes in resiliency, the power of change, and the art of connection.

Now residing in North Carolina, Maggie provides virtual services for parents, teens, and pre-teens whose concerns and goals are well-suited to telehealth.  

Maggie earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where she trained in Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, Activity Therapy, and Group Counseling.
