Megan is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in Play Therapy and Activity Therapy for children and preadolescents with a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Megan also works frequently with adolescents and adults in the context of traditional psychotherapy.  She integrates an array of therapeutic techniques to assist her patients in developing mindfulness, increasing self-awareness, and reducing anxiety, with the ultimate goal of progressing towards personal growth. Megan strongly values authenticity, acceptance, and empathy in all of her therapeutic relationships.

Megan earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where she trained in Play Therapy, Filial Therapy, Activity Therapy, Group Counseling, and Family Counseling. Prior to joining Therapy Dallas, Megan served as Program Manager for a domestic violence agency, where she gained extensive experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral concerns.
