Dr. Nguyen is a licensed psychologist specializing in individual and family-based interventions for children, adolescents, and adults. Her primary areas of specialty include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression, and Parent Consultation for a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties. Dr. Nguyen has a particular passion for and works frequently with college students and young adults experiencing life stressors and anxiety related to the transition to their next life stage (e.g., professional stressors, relationship challenges, etc.). 

Dr. Nguyen received her doctoral degree from the APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Graduate Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She subsequently completed her APA-accredited Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Child Psychology at Children’s Health/Children’s Medical Center, where she specialized in evaluation of children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders, and provided evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children and families across multiple medical clinics. Her clinical training has provided the opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations in many different settings, including hospitals, outpatient psychological clinics, and medical clinics with children and adolescents with chronic medical conditions. 

She is licensed in Texas and is able to practice telepsychology in any/all PSYPACT-participating states
