Reagan Stewart is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and National Certified Counselor, supervised by Sarah Rees, MS, LPC-S, RPT-S. She works with children, adolescents, and adults, providing play therapy, activity-based therapy, and/or talk therapy as indicated by her clients’ needs. Reagan is dedicated to delivering evidence-based interventions that help individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, and attachment concerns. She also provides parent consultation and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT), to effectively strengthen parent-child relationships.
Reagan believes that a safe and trusting relationship is the foundation for growth. She sees play as a child’s natural language of expression and is passionate about creating a space where children can explore and make sense of their experiences. She partners with parents and caregivers to support progress, achieve treatment goals, and enhance child and family wellness.
Reagan earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas, with a specialization in play therapy. While at UNT, she served as a research assistant at the Center for Play Therapy, supporting doctoral research in the field of child-centered play therapy. Having trained at the UNT Counseling and Human Development Center and interned at the Irving Family Advocacy Center, Reagan has treated children and families in both individual and group formats, and across a variety of clinical settings.
