Overview:

This 9-week group, designed specifically for parents of children ages 13-18, offers a constructive and collaborative space to acquire skills and learn strategies for parenting in a tech-filled world.  Co-facilitated by Jeremy Edge, LPC-S and Kristen Ohlenforst, PhD, this group offers data-driven content, evidence-based parenting strategies, and opportunities to intentionally craft your family’s healthy tech practices.    

This group is for parents only (children may not attend) and meets once-weekly.  As per usual, we limit the size of this group to allow adequate time/attention for each family’s specific needs and concerns.

Facilitators:

Jeremy Edge, LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over seven years of experience working with adults, teens, and children in various settings. As the owner and founder of Escapingthe.com, he is passionate about helping teenagers and adults in the Dallas area obtain a more balanced relationship with screens.

Kristen Ohlenforst, PhD has worked with children, adolescents, and adults throughout her training at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Stanford School of Medicine. As founder and Clinical Director of Therapy Dallas, she specializes in evidence-based individual and family-based interventions for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and behavioral difficulties.
